When I first joined SMPS, I was overwhelmed by the vast array of resources and uncertain how to fully leverage my membership. After attending a committee meeting and a few networking events, I quickly found myself connecting with a supportive group of talented marketers and business development professionals, all eager to collaborate and help one another grow. Through my continued involvement with SMPS, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with inspiring professionals, gaining invaluable insights, and having hands-on experience in event planning and program coordination. Perhaps most notably, my SMPS network motivated me to pursue and earn my Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification. The lessons I’ve learned and the friendships I’ve gained through my ongoing journey with NJ Affiliate have been truly transformative.
