Wilson Kimball

Commissioner of Planning and Development – City of Yonkers, NY

Wilson Kimball currently serves as the Commissioner of Planning and Development for the City of Yonkers. She was appointed to this position by Mayor Mike Spano in January 2013. Prior to serving as Commissioner, Kimball held the position as Deputy Commissioner of Planning and Development. As Commissioner, Kimball oversees a staff of 21 individuals comprising the Planning Bureau, Community Development Agency, Sustainability, Downtown Waterfront and Economic Development. Kimball leads negotiations of multi-million dollar property sales and coordinates development of public and private projects ranging from $3 million to $500 million. Kimball graduated Dean’s List with departmental honors from Skidmore College and earned a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where she was a Stein Scholar and recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Kimball graduated from Pace University Lubin School of Business, where she was a Michaelian Scholar, with a MBA in Finance.
