With more than 20 years in engineering, Simon is an industry recognized structural engineer who holds track records on a wide spectrum of building engineering from high-rise, mixed-use, residential, and commercial projects including supertall to interior fit-outs. Simon’s focus has shifted from engineer to entrepreneur, lecturer, volunteer, striving to address current climate change problems and provide sustainable solutions with WHY. Simon has contributed to technical engineering guides and articles including the “Outrigger Designs for High-Rise Buildings” guide published by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), as a peer reviewer. Simon currently leads business development in residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors and is an adjunct professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he teaches high-rise building design for senior level students and advises architectural graduate students.
