Deputy Director for Policy and Partnerships at the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Contract Services
Jennifer Geiling is Deputy Director for Policy and Partnerships at the City of New York Mayor’s Office of Contract Services, leading policy reform, public-private partnerships and external communications efforts. Jennifer’s work is focused on leveling the playing field for vendors by making it easier for companies and nonprofit organizations to do business with the City. Jennifer also leads the Nonprofit Resiliency Committee, a City/nonprofit provider partnership with more than 100 nonprofit organizations. Among her key health and human service (HHS) financial policy accomplishments are: the development and adoption of a standard cost manual for the City’s $7 billion annual HHS contracting portfolio, universal adoption of HHS Accelerator financial management platform for nearly 4,000 contract budgets, and timely registration for contracts, realizing greater liquidity and financial flexibility for nonprofit partners. Jennifer began her career as a corporate lawyer, specializing in corporate, technology and intellectual property transactions. More recently, she has focused on the nonprofit sector serving in a variety of roles including nonprofit founder, executive director and consultant. Jennifer is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
