Jane Gertler brings more than 20 years of experience as a Marketing and Business Development professional to the AEC industry. She specializes in strategic planning, branding, marketing communications, business development and client retention services. A Fellow in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), Jane is a published writer and frequent speaker on marketing and business development strategies. She has been published in Contract Magazine, Real Estate Weekly, and New York Real Estate Journal and is co-author of the monograph Architecture as a Design Partnership. Jane is a Past-President of the Long Island Chapter of SMPS. She has served on the SMPS National Business Development Initiatives Committee and the SMPS New York Mentoring Group and currently serves on the Chapter Advisory Council in New York City. She has been called upon as a Juror for the SMPS National Marketing Communication Awards, and the Entablature National Website Design Awards. Jane is an Associate Member of the New York City Metropolitan Executive Alliance and she serves on the Women’s Leadership Initiative of the Urban Land Institute, New York Chapter. As Principal of The Marketing Resource, prominent clients have included Howard L. Zimmerman Architects, BBG-BBGM, David Helpern Architects and Spector Group. The Marketing Resource serves professional service firms in the built environment. Jane Gertler is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
