Ethan Cotton

Associate, LERA Consulting Structural Engineers

With nearly a decade of experience as a structural engineer under his belt, Ethan boasts a significant range of project experience including supertall towers, government facilities, and academic buildings. Ethan is a committed and engaged member of both the industry and his local community. Ethan served as the Responsible Engineer in Charge (REIC) for Engineers Without Borders (EWB) NY Chapter’s Rubaya Program and traveled to Rwanda in 2018 to complete the project. He is an active member of SEAoNY's Education Committee, and serves as a lecturer for the ARE Exam. He also plays a key role in LERA's team for Canstruction NY and has served as Team Captain. In addition, he serves as a mentor for city youth through NYC's Big Brother program, helping his mentees gain exposure and experience in the AEC industry through summer internships. Ethan was honored as a Top Young Professional for 2019 by ENR New York.
