When the concept for the campus was first announced, no tennis organization had ever constructed a facility of its size and scope. In this unchartered territory, the client recognized the need for a team that could think proactively about what problems could arise in the operation of this one-of-a kind facility and brought in Faithful+Gould to work with their development partner as the owner’s representative. The Faithful+Gould team offered a unique value proposition through an integrated program management solution that included on-site project management, cost estimating, value engineering, workplace consulting, change management and project management system implementation services, covering the program from concept through completion. A collaborative approach and engagement with other teams ensured that these services complemented the work of the USTA’s various project partners. Using this team-focused program management process, the teams were able to meet program goals, find value in the design and deliver a world class program.
