Katherine DeMercurio joins EverGreene Architectural Arts

Katherine DeMercurio recently joined EverGreene Architectural Arts as Marketing & Communications Manager this September.  EverGreene Architectural Arts is one of the largest specialty contractors and architectural arts studios in the United States and provides pre-construction and construction services for significant buildings requiring conservation, restoration or new design.  Located within Industry City in Sunset Park Brooklyn, EverGreene is housed amongst designers and makers creating a variety of architectural arts, including: murals, fine art, decorative plaster and paint, gilding, metals, mosaics and other finishes. The company operates as both an art studio and a contractor combining art, science and technology as designers and craftsmen work side-by-side.

Alexis Newman presents “Planning Successful Client Events” for SMPS Philly

On Wednesday, October 11, Alexis Newman, 2017-2018 President of SMPS New York and Senior Marketing Specialist at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), took her SMPS-NY Coordinator’s Club presentation on the road and presented “Precise Coordination, Extraordinary Results: Planning Successful Client Events” for the SMPS Philadelphia Chapter. As her firm’s first client events manager, Alexis oversees a successful nationwide client events program for all seven SGH office locations. Next up on her presentation road show, SMPS Upstate New York!

Gensler promotes Lauren Hlavenka D’Urso, Stephanie Gomez, and Jake McNally

Gensler has promoted Lauren D’Urso to Northeast Regional Marketing Director. In her new role, Lauren oversees marketing, communications, and business development teams in Gensler’s New York, Morristown, Boston, and Toronto offices. Stephanie Gomez has been promoted to Marketing Manager of Gensler’s New York office. A strategic thinker and compelling storyteller, Stephanie began her career at Gensler’s Phoenix office a decade ago and also spent time in the London office working on EMEA pursuits. Jake McNally has been promoted to Pursuits Manager, where he will partner with leadership on strategic marketing planning and execution across all practice areas and regional offices.
