Sokol Media has honored Katherine DeMercurio, Associate of Business Development at M Moser Associates and Carrie Villani, Director of Marketing at Leslie E. Robertson Associate as Pioneering Women in Real Estate during their 16th annual awards gala held on March 8, 2017 at Club 101. Katherine and Carrie both serve on the Board of Commercial Real Estate Women of New York (CREW NY), Katherine as the Foundation Committee Chair and Carrie as Communications and Public Relations Chair. The Pioneering Women in Real Estate program acknowledges individuals and firms who support and exemplify progress for women in our industry. Katherine’s firm M Moser is also being honored as the 2017 Pioneering Firm for Women. Ten women in the industry will be honored at the awards gala and proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program.
Chris Soria Joins GES
Chris Soria has joined Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) as marketing manager in the Wall, NJ office. Chris comes to GES after seven years at HDR Engineering, Inc. where he last served as the assistant marketing manager for the firm’s New York/New Jersey area water business group operations. At GES, Chris’ responsibilities include collaborating with business development and technical staff to position GES’ national environmental programs. He will provide leadership in the company’s website redesign, branding, and communication programs. Chris will also work closely with the firm’s market sector leaders in strategic planning and client development activities.
Chris holds an MBA and a BS in Business Administration from Iona College and Ramapo College, respectively. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors, stand-up paddle boarding, golfing, and spending time with his family. Chris, his wife, Allison, and two young sons, Chase and Colten, will be relocating from North Jersey to the Jersey Shore in the coming months.
