Kristy Cerullo starts MBA Program

Kristy Cerullo, Marketing Manager at First Environment, started a part-time MBA program through Caldwell University in New Jersey.

Rory McMahon joins Perkins Eastman

Rory McMahon joins Perkins Eastman as the Practice Area Marketing Specialist for healthcare. As an Associate, Rory is responsible for all marketing and business development efforts including formulating strategy, identifying opportunities, supporting business development efforts and providing content and quality control for marketing deliverables throughout the domestic and international healthcare market.

Gil Brindley joins Posillico Civil

Long time SMPS’er Gil Brindley has joined general contractor Posillico Civil as the Director of UHPC Solutions.  Gil has been a SMPS member for over 20 years and served as chapter president of two chapters (Pittsburgh and Long Island) and been a long time member of the SMPS HQ Business Development Institute faculty.  In his new role, he is introducing Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) to the US infrastructure market.  UHPC is a modified concrete product, 4 times stronger than regular concrete.  His new role combines engineering, marketing and business development with a future role in operations.

Alexa Antopol to run the United NYC Half in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Alexa B. Antopol, Chief Intelligence Officer at Fisher Dachs Associates, will be running the United NYC Half in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a member of The Breathe Team and in support of her friend Amy who lives with cystic fibrosis. The mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care. The Breathe Team was formed in 2015, and that first year included 15 runners who raised just over $90,000. In 2018, with the United NYC Half and TCS New York City Marathon, 45 runners are expected to raise over $170,000. To support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Breathe Team or to read more about Alexa’s training Click Here!

Andrew Weinberg speaks to SMPS Nebraska

Andrew Weinberg, FSMPS, CPSM, Regional Business Development Manager for Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) presented on February 21st alongside Terry Hawley, CPSM, Client Development Manager at Terracon Consultants, Inc.  The event titled Defining your Technical Business Development Rock Stars and Embracing your Roadies focused on learning how to better incorporate technical staff in business development and explored how everyone, including the ‘non-sellers,’ add to the business development equation.
