If you work with the City of New York you are no doubt aware of the Vendex forms. But did you know your life is about to become easier? The New York City Mayor’s Office of Contract Cervices (MOCS) is preparing to roll out an all new system to replace the Vendex forms called PASSPort. The new system will be administered online by the user firm and the old paper system will be completely eliminated. We are very lucky to have representatives from MOCS coming to speak to the next Coordinator’s Club on May 5th.
Ryan Murray and Caitlin Benson will present the new system to the SMPS, will explain the process for implementing the new service and be prepared to take your questions and suggestions for improving the system before it is finalized. Starting this summer, all firms will have to enter their information into the system for the first time. Get a leg up on the process in order to make the process as efficient as possible for your firm. If your firm does any public work in New York City you must attend the COORDINATOR’S CLUB: Focus on NYC – Introduction to the PASSPort Vendor System from the NYC Mayor’s Office.
