Marketing Coordinator – Public Relations

Job Description:
The Media Relations Coordinator will use all forms of media and communication to achieve significant increases in brand awareness and to improve client relationship.

Responsibilities
• Assist in writing and editing press releases, newsletters, speeches, articles, case studies and information for websites and social media.
• Act as the liaison between DeSimone and the third party PR firm.
• Research, write and coordinate weekly firm and project updates.
• Maintain and update internal and external media outlets (website, blog, social media, newsletters, announcements, etc.)
• Coordinate client, corporate and sponsorship events
• Assist in award submissions

Qualifications:
• BS/BA Degree
• 2-4 year experience in public relations and communications in A/E/C industry
• Experience in both traditional and interactive/online PR channels
• Solid writing skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, WordPress, Constant Contact, and social media outlets
