Cooper Robertson seeks a Director of Marketing to lead and implement marketing, business development, and public relations efforts. Cooper Robertson practices award-winning architecture and urban design with both disciplines working together at a range of scales. Our 50-person, New York City-based staff skillfully addresses large-scale urban design challenges, shapes major cultural and educational buildings, and crafts exceptional private residences and resorts.
Marketing tasks include leading the marketing department consisting of our marketing manager and graphic designer, developing marketing strategy in collaboration with the practice leaders and design directors, creating an annual budget and reports, administering the proposal and presentation process, developing marketing collateral, and maintaining the firm’s high quality of written and graphic materials directed at a wide range of audiences.
Business development tasks include representing Cooper Robertson at events and conferences, managing the firm’s lead database, coordinating and undertaking client outreach efforts, creating business development packages, and maintaining the contact database.
Public relations tasks include the creation and distribution of press packages relating to the firm’s work, outreach to media outlets, development of the firm’s quarterly e-newsletters and other mailings, oversight of the firm’s social media efforts, and crafting new website content.
The ideal candidate possesses experience directing marketing, business development, and public relations efforts across a variety of markets sectors. We expect strategic thinking, excellent writing skills, a good graphic eye, and a passion for design.
