The Long Island Affiliate of SMPS New York will host a panel discussion on the latest developments at Long Island and NYC local airports. William A. Fife, P.E., Special Consultant with D&B Engineers and Architects, Chair of the ASCE MET Section Airport Group, and a long-time airport specialist, will moderate the session. The audience will hear from local airport representatives, who in a series of presentations will discuss the most current information on capital programs, the design and construction process, future trends and upcoming projects, as well as MBE/WBE requirements. Participants will hear first-hand from representatives from MacArthur, Gabreski, LaGuardia and JFK airports, and will learn about the challenges the airports are facing as the need to update and rebuild our airport infrastructure continues. At the end of this thought-provoking series of presentations, the audience will have the opportunity to engage with our speakers and ask questions.
