MARKETING SPECIALIST – GROUP PMX

 
As the Marketing Specialist, it is essential that you possess strong written, communication and team building skills along with reporting, management and proven leadership capabilities. You must have the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the market sector leaders. In addition, you must be a strategic thinker, knowledgeable of the architecture, engineering and construction industry in New York City, thrive in a fast paced environment, effectively handle multiple time-sensitive requests and engage on multiple, simultaneous assignments.
 
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
• Managing marketing and day-to-day proposal and presentation efforts
• Acting as the proposal manager, lead multiple proposal efforts from initial lead to deadline date by coordinating schedule, deliverables, content and layout, editing and customizing as need, quality control, print production and delivery
• Preparing presentations with oversight from Market Sector leaders ensuring consistency in the information and providing a thematic and graphically appealing product
• Creating and refining marketing materials for targeted clients
• Preparing, updating and refining new and existing database of resumes and project data sheets
• Organizing and managing our social media footprint to increase brand recognition
• Maintaining and promoting our branding standards
• Production and organization of interview materials including power point presentations and company literature
• Visiting Group PMX personnel and project sites to document and market our existing portfolio of projects
• Updating and improving company website and Linked In company page
• Work on special projects as required
• Reporting weekly to the senior team on proposal and social media efforts
• Must be able to support and champion Salesforce (CRM) implementation and ongoing use
 
Qualities
As the Marketing Specialist, you must possess the following abilities:
• Strong communications and relationship-building skills
• Detail-oriented, collaborative and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of proposal terms and principles
• Good judgment and reasoning ability, enabling problem solving with a variety of options in varying situations
• Develop and maintain successful relations to efficiently and effectively meet goals and objectives
• Set, drive and be accountable for proposal deadlines
• Analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail
• Understand Design and Construction specific request for proposals and procurement terms to review their requirements
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro or After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator), Salesforce (CRM) or other presentation software
 
Experience
• Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, journalism, English, business, or related area
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience in marketing related field with emphasis in Architecture, Engineering and Construction preferred
• Experience in the New York City Market
