The primary duties of the Marketing Coordinator for NY Transportation will include directing the development, organization and production of proposals and marketing materials such as presentation materials, resumes and brochures. These efforts include a significant amount of research, technical, and creative writing. Desk top publishing. Coordinates and directs the efforts of both professional and support personnel. Evaluates technical content to ensure that it satisfies the RFP requirements/evaluation criteria, writes/edits proposal sections, and independently evaluates and clarifies client requests prior to submitting materials. Assist NY Transportation program with plans, strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and organization of information. Involves frequent contact with professionals outside the firm by representing the company at professional meetings and seminars. *LI-MJ1
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or Journalism preferred
1+ years hands-on marketer with experience in pursuits, production, leading and managing the proposal and interview process required.
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications as well as Adobe InDesign.
Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proven writing ability.
Previous experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
Preference will be given to local candidates.
