Andrew Weinberg moderates SMPS Northeast Ohio panel
Andrew Weinberg, FSMPS, CPSM, recently moderated SMPS Northeast Ohio’s Luncheon Speaker Series: “Marketing and Business Development Trends from National A/E/C Leaders”. Andrew has served in a marketing or business development capacity in the A/E/C industry for over 18 years. He is currently the Regional Business Development Manager for Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH), a national engineering firm that designs, investigates, and rehabilitates structures and building enclosures.

Michelle Santoro, CPSM joins Skanska USA
Michelle Santoro recently joined Skanska USA as Director of Business Development based in their Blue Bell, PA office. Michelle, previously Director of Business Development at EwingCole in New York City, has over seven years of marketing and business development experience with national design and construction firms. Michelle currently serves as Director of Professional Development for SMPS New York.
Sarah Hoff presented at the SMPS Southwest Regional Conference
Sarah Hoff, Principal at Cerami and Rebecca Lavezzary, Director of Marketing at Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture (formerly from the NY Chapter) presented at the SMPS Southwest Regional Conference in Albuquerque, NM on October 13th. Based on interviews with a variety of firms of different sizes and disciplines, located around the country, this session entitled “You Had Me at Hello: Client Care Programs to Turn Your Firm Into The Leading Actor” took a look at client care program best practices.
Jackie Terpstra Joins Thornton Tomasetti
Jackie Terpstra recently joined Thornton Tomasetti, a global engineering firm, as a marketing coordinator supporting the firm’s ten practices throughout the northeast. Terpstra, previously a Proposal Manager at Dewberry, has over six years of marketing and business development experience in the A/E/C industry. She believes her mission as a marketer is to create, connect, and inspire. In her role, she strives to blend creativity with content to make the most meaningful impact. Terpstra serves on the SMPS events committee in New York.
